Bettie Page Dances to the oddball Netherlands
New Wave band Gruppo Sportivo’s song “Superman” - which features a reworking of the Lumpy Gravy rendition of Frank Zappa’s “Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance”plus a
lil “Runaway/Crocodile Rock”-esque workout on the Farfisa
(many claim Gruppo Sportivo lifted the lick from Zappa, though Gruppo’s US LP “Mistakes” attribute the riff to Frank)
For years I took this to mean Frank Zappa guested on the track, but hey everyone makes
